The DOING solar panel recycling machine is designed to recycle retired photovoltaic (PV) panels and solar modules of various sizes. Utilizing advanced physical and mechanical separation technology, it efficiently extracts aluminum frames, glass, silicon, copper, plastic, and other materials.

The system features:

PLC automatic control and a modular design, ensuring compatibility with PV panels of diverse specifications.

A 95% material recovery rate, maximizing resource reuse.

A fully enclosed, pollution-free process, with a 99% purification rate for exhaust gas and dust, meeting high environmental standards.

Equipment Processing Flow

Aluminum Frame Dismantling

1. The solar panel is placed on the aluminum frame removal machine’s operating table.

2. Mechanical extrusion separates and removes the surrounding aluminum frame, yielding intact aluminum frames for recycling.

Glass Removal

1. After frame removal, panels enter the glass removal machine.

2. High-temperature heating softens the EVA adhesive, allowing glass separation.

3. A milling cutter crushes and rubs off the glass, producing granulated glass and battery cells.

Crushing & Sorting

1. Shredding: Solar Panels are shredded by a primary shredder, then further crushed by a secondary crusher.

2. Grinding: A mill processes the material, which is then fed into a circular vibrating screen via conveyor belt.

3. Screening: The vibrating screen separates materials into three layers:

  • ① Upper layer: Returns to the mill for secondary grinding.
  • ② Middle layer: A copper-plastic mixture sent to the airflow separator.
  • ③ Lower layer: Silver-containing silicon powder (final product).

4. Airflow Separation: The copper-plastic mixture is split into copper and plastic.

5. Electrostatic Separation: Plastic undergoes further refinement in an electrostatic separator to remove residual copper.
